On this episode host Brad Fowler gives out his AFC South draft grades and Brad also tells you who he thinks each teams best pick and worst pick were in this draft.

Today's Guest

Laurie Fitzpatrick

Laurie covers the NFL for USA Today's Touchdown Wire and is the co-host of the "Bleav in The Jacksonville Jaguars" podcast.

Here are the questions we asked Laurie:

I want to start by getting your thoughts on the NFL Draft as a whole being in Las Vegas, the crowd, the weather the scenery, I thought made for a great venue for the Draft, what did you think?

1) When you're in the first round, most teams want to eliminate as many question marks as possible. And for Jacksonville with the first overall pick to go with potential over production, was a bit shocking to me. What are your thoughts on Travon Walker going No. 1?

2) 9 trades and 6 WRs taken in the first 20 picks, what did you make of all the trades we saw and the high number of WRs that went early in this draft?

3) The NFL seems to be split on the philosophy of weather to pay big for proven veteran WRs or draft young WRs, the position has never been viewed as important as it is today, some teams are paying big money to acquire veterans like Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill but what are your thoughts on what we saw during the draft with the AJ Brown and Hollywood Brown trades when this was viewed as such a deep WR class ?

3) I want to shift the QBs, Kenny Pickett went at 20 to the Steelers and was the 1st and only QB taken in round one, Malik Willis was viewed by many as the best prospect but fell Into the 3rd round, along with the rest of the top rated QB prospects. The NFL made a clear statement on how they felt about this QB class, but What did you make of the QBs and where they went?

4) Who were some players that slid in this draft that really surprised you?

5) Who were some players that you feel landed in the perfect situation or perfect team for them?

6) what 1st round pick left you shaking your head?

7) We had several teams this year with multiple 1st round picks, of that group who did the best?

8) What was the single best pick of the entire draft?

9) After the draft, we all love to grade how we think the teams did, and this podcast is no exception, I don't necessarily need grades from you but how about winners and losers so to speak, who do you think crushed it and who came up light this year?
